i tend to go to the co-op for "special treats" rather than staple supplies. the prices in the past have scared me away. however, i recently realized that cheeses and organic boxed and frozen goodies were really no more than the other stores. also, as one of the only bulk sections on the grid (if not the only) you save if you buy by the bag. they also have delicious deli items like the

They have a wonderful inventory.  Lots of beautiful items.  The owner is very friendly and nice.
