Yes, there is an outdoor ice rink in downtown Sacramento, well, at least during the winter holidays. We usually visit the rink at least once every season, even if only to watch the little kids. There isn't anything much more fun than watching little kids learning to ice skate. Fun just fills the air. It is only a few dollars to rent skates and have a blast yourself, but wacthing is totally free
