5th Annual Mid-Town Community Festival September 11, 2010, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Capitol Ave. Between 20th and 21st Street. For the past few years now, Rubicon Brewery in conjunction with the Northern California Brewer’s Guild has put together a fun filled day for the family that benefits Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento, The Midtown Community Festival. This year’s committee is working hard to plan an outstanding event that will cater to every member of the family!  The event will include live performances by various bands, fun games and activities for kids, great BBQ, raffle prizes and of course the ever famous Beer Tasting Garden with all proceeds benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento.   Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento has been at the forefront of youth development for the past eleven years, serving thousands of Sacramento’s youth between the ages 6-18.  Providing a safe and positive environment for youth has been the main objective of the organization, with an overriding mission “To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.” Through your support of  Rubicon’s 3rd Annual Midtown Community Festival, thousands of Sacramento’s youth will have a positive place where they can grow, learn, play and most important become positive and productive citizens.
