This studio was born out of a dream to have a space where people can be themselves and open to their own experience without apology or expectation. It has become a hub of community, friendship, and service.

At It's All Yoga, "yoga is not just a class, it's a lifestyle." Established in 2005, we are honored to serve this community and celebrate the practice of yoga with you.

We offer classes and workshops on yoga, ayurveda, the chakras, kirtan and more. Walking the path of yoga is a practice of love, service and devotion, which leads to the presence of truth. Come, and you will find community, support and gifted teachers to help illuminate the way.

Why Yoga?  Why It's All Yoga?

Life is fast-paced and ever-changing, and your needs are different day to day.  Yoga brings us back into balance, back into our bodies, back into truth.

It's All Yoga is a 'come as you are' kind of place.  Our goal is to create the space for openness, release, mindfulness, strength, softness, peace and acceptance.   Our studio is inviting, soothing, beautiful and sacred.  Our instructors are skilled, friendly and compassionate.

In fact, here's what people are saying about us:

  • "I have been to 3 classes and I can't remember when I have been treated with so much kindness."

  • "I don't think I communicated very well to you the deep impression that the classes I took at your studio had on me and that I continue to carry with me. "

  • "What I will take with me and value always is the comfort I found during my visits to the studio. Grace during an otherwise turbulent time."

  • "...attending practice at your studio has become such an important, and essential, part of my life."

  • "Thanks again for providing such a supportive, loving environment for the community and all who attend."

We offer a wide range of classes from mild (Gentle and Yin) to medium (our Level 2-3 All Yoga classes will mindfully challenge your strength and stamina) to spicy (Level 3-4 classes explore the adventures of going upside down or sideways).  Whatever you need, it lives in this moment, in yoga.

New to Yoga?

You have two ways to take our 4-week Yoga Basics series -- series A and series B.  This introductory course is designed to help you explore the fundamentals of yoga.  You will create a foundation based on breathing techniques, primary yoga postures and universal principles of alignment.   Individual attention and hands-on adjustments will give the necessary tools and confidence to progress to our on-going classes.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a welcoming, safe and sacred space where those interested in learning and enjoying yoga can experience the gifts of this ancient practice. We strive to do business in an environmentally responsible manner, and work to provide students with inspiration and resources to promote individual and collective well being.

We hope that you meet neighbors, make friends, learn more about yourself and your body, and have a great time when you're here. Our simple intention is that, through yoga, you find greater peace, joy and balance in your body—and life—inside and outside of class.

We love yoga. We love the learning, sharing and openness that results from the practice. Although yoga is a very personal thing, we believe that the community it creates is what keeps people coming back to a class setting. We cherish the family that has developed among staff and students and strive to make a positive contribution to the special community in which we live. Come explore with us and discover for yourself that "it's all yoga!" We look forward to seeing you soon!

Comfortable and welcoming

by Alexis, Saturday 18 of July, 2009 (04:00:54)

I recently made a commitment to practice yoga on a regular basis, and thought I would visit a few studios in town to find one I liked. However, after coming to It's All Yoga, I didn't bother going anywhere else. This is a great studio. It is pleasant, calming and well laid out, with a sizable practice area and storage space for props and personal belongings in the back, separated by screens and curtains. A wide variety of class levels and styles are available, so you can start where you are comfortable and experiment. All of the instructors are kind, helpful and welcoming to new students. In the spirit of mindfulness to the Earth, the studio also offers discounts to people who bike or walk to class: walk/ride 20 times and get 10 percent off your next purchase. The studio is also high-tech, with the schedule posted online and the ability to sign up for classes in advance or purchase class passes. First-time students can purchased one week of unlimited classes for $20; when that expires, they can purchase a month of unlimited classes for a reduced price of $99. The location is good -- convenient to Midtown but with plenty of free street parking and a bike rack out front. Arrive a few minutes early if you come -- some of the classes can be packed (although I've attended a couple with less than five people).

Amazing Studio and Teachers!

by Headhunter, Tuesday 12 of May, 2009 (23:44:03)

When I enter the studio at It's All Yoga, it's like entering my very own sanctuary. A safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment. The teachers are outstanding - always remember my name, help me with the positions, and warm my heart with the teachings. The Basics class is a must -- never intimidating. This is truly a wonderful place!

wonderful Friday Yin Yoga

by Julia, Friday 12 of September, 2008 (14:22:55)

Last Friday was my first time at It's All Yoga. I tried their Friday Yin Yoga class, which is more of a restorative type of yoga. We used some great props like bolsters, blocks and blankets and the majority of poses were on the floor (opposed to standing poses).  I felt great afterwards and found this class to be a perfect way to wind down from a long week. Also, the studio is beautiful and has a very  peaceful and intimate feeling about it.
