Master Plan

On October 28, 2008, the City of Sacramento brought forth a Master Plan for the renovation of McClatchy Park.  McClatchy Park is located at 3500 5th Avenue in the beautiful Oak Park neighborhood of Sacramento, California.  Within the proposed Master Plan, the City has included space for a small skate park.  As of December 2008 the skatepark itself has not yet been designed.

SK8OP was formed as a response to the City of Sacramento's decision to install a skatepark in Oak Park.  We are dedicated to creating a skateboarding-friendly environment within our neighborhood.  We understand that the layout and features involved in a skatepark greatlyimpact the use of the park.  We exist to create interest in this new development and form a voice for those who plan to use the park in the future.  We hope to have a hand in creating a thoroughly enjoyable skatepark that fits our unique neighborhood.
