AN INTRODUCTION TO FUTURE LEADERS NOW

The Mission of Future Leaders Now is to motivate, train, inspire and inform children and young adults of the importance of a great education, good health and fitness, responsibility and accountability. Also Foster kids are an important addition to our programs with educational workshops to be held for all ages. Our Vision is to educate children and young adults regarding life issues.

WHAT WE DO

  • Visit homeless shelters containing women and children such as Del Paso Heights Women’s Shelter where we celebrate Birthdays of those living there and provide seminars for Goal Setting
  • Provide crisis counseling at the Coalition of Women and Children’s center in Sacramento
  • Visit after school program is help homeless and needy children to get on track with a successful future
  • Train Foster Parents on how to make foster children successful at Parenting for Families United Incorporated
  • Work with CASA in training court-appointed mentors for foster children
  • Held Back-To-School drives and generated over 1,000 backpacks complete with school supplies for homeless and needy children.

CURRENT EVENTS

  • Youth Entrepreneur Class – Course is designed to expose students to Business Skills, Office Conduct, Business Processes, and Project Management skills
  • College Prep Counseling – Working with youth to improve test scores, gain scholarships and grants and college entrance processes
  • Reading empowerment book clubs for children and single moms in Oak Park.

FUTURE EVENTS

  • Provide Thanksgiving baskets for 500 identified families
  • Provide a Toy Giveaway for Christmas
  • Secure Back Packs and School Supplies for the coming school year

  • We Need Volunteers, Donors and Investors to contribute so that we can
  • Administer our Educational Workshops and Programs.

  • Place children as your number one reason to help. Have programs that address youth
    rights, sexuality, violence and substance abuse.
  • Have educational programs that focus on math, science, reading, history, engineering and much more.

It is important to understand that some youth are born with cocaine addiction and for the first few years of their life were over coming the toxins that were stored in their bone development. These youth are usually classified as ADD or ADHD and then prescribed more drugs to
counter the behaviours that are a result of their condition.

America our youth are calling out for your help. In many ways through violence, gang participation, crime, drug use and direct disobedience to parents; our youth have sough relief from the day-to-day challenges of inner-city life.

Our Need:

We need Donors and Investors to sponsor a child@ $50.00 per child, this will include:

  • Administration of health and fitness program test
  • Education workshop
  • Nutritional snacks
  • Certificate of completion and a T-Shirt.


Donations also help with school supplies
