Beware of service. Pizza outstanding.

Masullo- Beware of inconsiderate waiters. Even prisoners get bread and water.

The pizza was close to making up for the unnecessary 1 hour and ten min. wait for a table for six persons.  The excessive wait could of easily been avoided if both waiters worked in unison and as a team.

After waiting for a couple to complete an order to go.  A younger male waiter took our name and informed us that it would take a few min. to prepare a table for 6.

The restaurant has family style seating and one large table having 6 patrons, we assumed our party was going to be joining the group already seated.  (Our mistake)   After waiting ten min. a family of four came in, stood behind us, then spoke with an elderly waiter.  The elderly waiter rearranged the large table and immediately sat the family at the table.  I spoke with our waiter, informing him of the family of four immediately being seated at the table that could easily accommodate our party, and requested his intervention.  He apologized; a full hour later we were seated.  To make our additional 1hour more pleasurable one would expect some form of compassion, water, bread and perhaps a courtesy glass of wine, none were provided.

Our party did not appreciate being passed over in line and having to wait an additional hour.

To Robert:  To remain in the service business, remember, good food, service and team work all make for a resturants' survival.  Even prisioners are served bread and water and we certainly felt as hostage.  Or simply begin taking reservations.  We attempted to make a reservation and were told it would not be necessary.

Unhappy passed over patron and prisoners

This place is great.  Simply do a little and do it well, the idea is, no need to reinvent it - just perfect it.  Try the Jacqueline pizza with bacon and fontina on potatoes.  The wine is low priced for a restaurant and a nice local selection.  Be sure to try the chocolate pudding, delicious and devine.
