Mothers' Support Network has served families in the greater Sacramento area for over 14 years!

Our mission is to support parents in their quest to raise happy, healthy children. Mothers' Support Network is open to all parents who seek to learn more and receive support in caring for their children in a style that emphasizes personal choice and responsibility in a loving manner.

As parents, we seek to develop our own intuition and skills in caring for our children, to maintain or restore their health and well-being. We do not advocate any particular methods or behaviors, but support parents making their own well-informed choices.

Support Groups

New & Pregnant Mom's Group:

Do you have questions about your new little bundle of joy? Need some support and encouragement? We'd love to invite you to spend some time with the New Mom's Group. We have weekly meetings held Tuesdays AND Wednesdays at the Center (we ask that you choose one, as we are trying to keep the meetings small and intimate). Babies range from a few days old to around 1 year. Pregnant moms often come too to begin their new circle of friends before baby is born.

Toddler Group

Has your toddler outgrown New Mom's Group but isn't quite ready for park playgroups? Join other moms for informal discussions on the special joys and challenges of parenting a toddler while our little ones play. This group is open to new walkers up to age 3.> See site for details

Single Moms Support Group

Come and join the Single Moms Support Group, a place to share about the joys and challenges of parenting solo. We have a monthly get together with childcare on site so we can talk openly about our lives and really get to know one another. Share stories, ideas and replenish your energy among moms who understand your unique situation. Are you looking for cloth diapering supplies? How about a unique present? Some great clothing? Then be sure to stop by the Moonfaeries Shop. We are located inside the MSN Parent Resource Center, 2460 Avalon Drive in Sacramento. The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Moonfaeries features quality resale children's clothing, wood and soft toys and fine children's books. All of the clothing is $4 and under and includes baby through child's size 6. You can not beat these prices for the quality! We have a safe and spacious play area in which your child can play, relax, or make new friends while you shop.

Newsletter Mothers' Support Network publishes a quarterly newsletter. This newsletter includes poetry and articles by members, the playgroup schedule, a class and activity guide, book reviews, recipes, community classifieds and more. It's full of great stuff!
