The Cities of Sacramento and Roseville are hosting the High Water Mark kickoff event to unveil the first “High Water Mark” sign in California as part of the federal “Know Your Line” initiative in Garcia Bend Park.

You are invited to come out and hear from FEMA, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, CA Department of Water Resources, City of Roseville, and the City of Sacramento on why it is important to understand how high the water gets, where the flood waters could be, and raise awareness of flood risk. The event will have booths from many different agencies with information about flood risk and flood preparedness.
