Midtown Rotary

The Rotary Club of Midtown-Sacramento was founded in 1998, and in those 10 years has:

• performed numerous acts of community service

• received a matching grant from Rotary International for a joint project with the Rotary Club of Gualaceo, Azuay, Ecuador

• donated over $50,000 to local charities and to the Rotary Foundation to eradicate polio

The motto of Rotary is “Service Above Self,” and as Rotarians we have painted the Chicks in Crisis halfway house for single mothers, cleared a lot in Oak Park for a new Rotary House for families with children at Shriners Hospital, and sold hot dogs at a community events.

The Rotary Club of Midtown-Sacramento meets 48 weeks out of the year.  We meet at Café Bernardo in midtown from 5:30pm – 6:30 pm, and the cost for our regular meeting is $20, which includes dinner.

We call ourselves “Rush Hour Rotary.”   We are “doing good in the neighborhood,” and we welcome new members who are interested in helping us serve the Sacramento area. Are you that person?
