Jan. 14 – 24: 34 film sessions. Each film session averages about 1.5 hours in length and contains about 3-6 films. Some include additional materials such as related filmmaker panels, Q&A’s, introductions, etc. which can extend the total viewing time.
Post film sessions will be available as on-demand content, available to watch at your leisure. Access to workshops, talks and chats, and other supplemental programming is offered for free and does not require purchase of a pass or ticket. Geographic Restrictions, Availability Windows, and Ticket Caps dictated by filmmakers and distributors may limit the ability to unlock some sessions. Award Winner sessions are only included in Watershed and Household passes, otherwise, they require the purchase of a separate ticket.

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

Saturday, May 4th, 8am-noon, while supplies last

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
