4th Annual WEUSI Music Festival + Vendor Fair to Unite Community
NPR 2025 Tiny Desk Contest Winner to Headline!
The University Union’s UNIQUE Programs is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated 4th annual WEUSI Music Festival, set to captivate music enthusiasts and community members alike on Thursday, September 11 from 2 pm- 8 pm. The event will unfold outdoors on the scenic Serna Plaza lawn, creating an unforgettable experience at Sacramento State.
The WEUSI Music Festival is not just a celebration of music; it’s a celebration of unity within the Sac State community. This year’s festival promises an exciting lineup of live music, giveaways and the Stinger Expo vendor fair, showcasing the talents and creativity of over 30 Sac State student makers and sellers.
Music enthusiasts of all tastes can expect an eclectic musical journey, featuring the following dynamic acts: LabRats (hip hop/ jazz fusion), Where’s West? (indie rock), Karega Bailey (hip hop), Jackson Marshall (alternative), & NPR Tiny Desk Contest Winner and female Filipina rapper, Ruby Ibarra. Additionally, there will be performances by Sac State student dance groups: Red Lotus (Lion Dance), Sac State Hornet Drumline, Sac State Stingerettes, and Krescendo (K-Pop)
As a token of appreciation for attendees, a limited number of tote bags and festival wristbands will be available as free souvenirs.
The WEUSI Music Festival is open to all, welcoming both students and the general public to join in the festivities. All are encouraged to come and enjoy a day of music, food trucks, and community spirit. Free parking is available.
