Burger Patch, Kau Kau, Mayahuel, Broderick Roadhouse, Veg Cafe, Thai Basil, Mud Pie Stand, Kasbah, The Porch, Capitol Garage, Revolution Wines, the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-Op, The Golden Bear, Midtown Sushi, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, Buffalo Pizza & Ice Cream, Bambi Vegan Tacos, 1837 Vegan and Chicago’s Pizza with a Twist.
OneSpeed, Andy Nguyen’s Vegetarian Restaurant, Kupros Craft House, Golden Road Brewing, Vegan Deadly Sins, Conscious Creamery, Vegan Lady Soul, Rabbit Food Revolution, Hayvy Bayky Bake Shop, Jet’s, Pure Soul Plant-Based Eats, Sweet Flour Bakery, Blend Sacramento, KC Kombucha and Dubplate Kitchen & Jamaican Cuisine.
Outside city limits, the list of participants includes:
River City Brewing, El Papagayo and Crazy Rabbit Kitchen (Carmichael); Timmy Gingers Sandwich Shop and Vegan Plate (Roseville); Pizza Bell and Todo Un Poco (Elk Grove); Zest Kitchen (Rocklin), Pho Fresh (Rancho Cordova), Sal’s Tacos (West Sacramento), Wild Rooster Bistro (Fair Oaks), Paisley Cafe (Orangevale), and Delta Hand Pies (Clarksburg).
Several of those businesses have no set storefront. So instead of solely relying on customers to seek out individual pop-ups, the Vegan Chef’s Challenge is hosting temporary food courts with them all at Fort Rock Brewing in Rancho Cordova (Oct. 13), Track 7 Brewing in Natomas (Oct. 21) and McClatchy Park in Oak Park (Oct. 29).
