The Carole King Musical – National Tour
Celebrating its fifth year on Broadway, here’s the inspiring true story of Carole King’s remarkable rise to stardom, as part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation, with songs like “I Feel The Earth Move,” “One Fine Day,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “You’ve Got A Friend” and more.

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
