Featuring Sean Lehe (Jelly Bread, Izabella), Derek Brooker (formerly of Tracorum), John Morales (Dad’s LP’s, 10 Mile Tide), Jeff Coleman (Poor Man’s Whiskey, Uncle Harlen’s Band), and Sam Phelps (Izabella, Drunken Kung Fu).
This band churns out what is at once, a raw and refined take on classic rock and roll. Old tunes sound new, and new tunes sound like you’ve heard them on the airwaves for as long as you can remember. Dual lead guitar lines weave in and out of a dense rhythm section, some sweet harmonies to bring you back home after a big jam. Familiar and comfortable, while also daring and exploratory. Dance floor friendly, but certainly not afraid to fly!

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
