UNIQUE Programs at Sacramento State is pleased to announce a special movie screening of Hoops Africa: Ubuntu Matters, directed by Taylor Sharp at the Sac State University Union Redwood Room on Wednesday, February 12th. This FREE event Is open to the general public.

Hoops Africa is a new 2018 documentary movie that aims to uncover, and celebrate the many stories that generate the past, present, and future of basketball within Africa. This film also distinguishes how basketball has made a significant impact on the society as well as the development of the entire continent of Africa. Immediately following the screening will be a Q&A with the director, Taylor Sharp.

This film screening is in support of Black History Month.
