Description
Clay Labs are open to the public every Saturday morning from 10am-1pm and Tuesday evenings from 4:30pm-sundown, all ages and skills are welcome but kids under the age of fourteen are required to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Due to the current safety protocol, we are operating outside with plenty of shade structures and misters to keep you cool. We are still able to offer everything we offered in our classroom but outside in the fresh air.We ask that everyone attending wear a mask for the duration of your visit.
During the clay lab you may use up to 10 lbs of clay, any clay tools, glazes, our slab roller and wheels, you may fire items up to 12 inches in any direction per lab session. We provide brief demos for people who are new to clay but this time is not structured as a class. Verge Center for the Arts will offer ceramic classes when we can again, please keep checking our class schedule for more information.
