Description
Electric Miles & A Love Supreme bring two outdoor extended outdoor sets for a private party in Yuba City, when the group will present an explorative rendition of John Coltrane’s seminal 1965 suite “A Love Supreme”, along with a special selection of material from the mid-1970’s electric repertoire of Miles Davis. Featuring Andrew Dixon on sax, John Hanrahan on drums, Ben Misterka on guitar, Murph Murphy on bass and Kevin Wong on keyboard, this show promises to be THE JAZZ EVENT to start your summer off right.
Each one of these musicians are quite famous on their own, but when they come together, you can expect an amazing show. Tickets are limited so get yours today, before they sell out!

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
