Join us on Nov. 8 for the unveiling of a new artifact coming to the California Museum’s “Women Inspire” exhibit. See and hear the story of the silver-plated chalice gifted to Mary Brown—the widow of famed abolitionist John Brown—in the 1880s by a group of formerly enslaved people, honoring the Brown family’s efforts in the fight for freedom.
