They’ll be joined by special guests Mallard.

New Zealand’s ethereal French for Rabbits are returning to the USA for the second time in 2019 for a West Coast tour – following an earlier debut nationwide run and stint at SXSW to promote the release of their intensely dreamy sophomore record The Weight of Melted Snow, out on Mississippi’s Muscle Beach Records.

Fronted by the delicately voiced Brooke Singer, their emotionally intelligent music is evocative of land and sea, awash with glistening layers, and propelled along by the intricate instrumentation of guitarist John Fitzgerald and their bandmates. For this tour they will be joined by violinist Katie Mosehauer and bassist Ian Williams for an intimate series of shows.

They have toured in Europe several times, performed alongside Agnes Obel, and New Zealand luminaries including Lorde, Marlon Williams, Tiny Ruins and Nadia Reid. Their music has featured on TV series’ including The Vampire Diaries, and Being Human.
