Greater Sacramento Urban League’s 4th Annual Juneteenth Run/Walk
Celebrate Juneteenth with our annual Run/Walk, a meaningful community event that honors freedom, reflection, and togetherness. Join us to connect, get active, enjoy the outdoors, and recognize the lasting significance of Juneteenth.
The distance is symbolic of the two and a half years it took for enslaved people in Texas to learn of their freedom following the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. This fun event is a great way to socialize, get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and learn about the history of Juneteenth.
