The Sacramento Maidens of Metal present their 2020 Calendar Release along with Kaci Khaos’s Dirty 30 Bday Bash, featuring performances by Soulwood (Hard Rock/Metal, Sacramento), Volrahven (Thrash Metal, Sacramento), Johnny Schizo (Hard Rock/Metal, Sacramento), Downcypher (Metal, Arcata, CA) and Failure By Proxy (Hard Rock, Galt, CA)
Soulwood is an American alternative rock band from Sacramento California. Formed in 2017, the band was founded by Mark Wood (Vocals/rhythm Guitar) and Ryan Stewart (Bass). In late 2017 Steven Wood (Drums) joined the band.
The band released their single GODSPEED July 1st 2019 and will be performing in the Sacramento area most of the year. They plan to release another single this fall and have gained momentum with an organic draw locally.
Being a relatively new band to the Sacramento area, there is much anticipation on what is to come for Soulwood as they develop and increase exposure. With a sound that is easily one of the newest and most unique upcoming genres in the area, Soulwood is definitely a band to keep an eye on.
