In the height of the summer of 2012, Merchants embarked on a journey and began their musical endeavor in Sacramento, CA.
Because everyone shared the same ambition, to create passionate music, it made it easy for them to blend and develop their own unique sound.Combining aggressive, melodic guitar riffs alongside powerful emotion packed lyrics has allowed them to reach both sides of the spectrum. From crushing breakdowns to touching chorus’s Merchants is without a doubt making music of their own.
“We’re all chasing the same dream. As a band, we realized that we had to speak through our music to shine through this saturated scene,” said lead vocalist Jack Ewing. After releasing their first single “Time Will Kill Us All”, produced by Colby Wedgeworth, Merchants quickly developed a devoted fan base. Following the release of their second single, “This Is Only The Beginning”, the group partnered up with The Artery Foundation. With their steadfast and faithful following, Merchants have proven that they are here to stay. Be on the lookout for this musical powerhouse to take this scene and make 2014 their own.
