Swedish punk rock legends, No Fun At All are back and they have an amazing new full length album, Grit, that was released earlier this Spring on Bird Attack Records. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness these guys at The Press Club on September 20th!

Powerfully infusing the energy and raw emotion of punk and hardcore, Sederra is a melodic blend of expressive rock. Bound by shared experiences rather than conventional labels, this ambiguously named band formed in 2006 from the ashes of the late 90’s and emo/punk-pioneering Longfellow (Kung Fu Records). All veterans of the Orange County music scene, the original lineup consisted of bassist Eric Bootow (Fourth in Line, As Hope Dies, Jughead’s Revenge) and ex-Longfellow members: guitarist/vocalist Tom Schmitt (Longfellow), Mike Doherty (Longfellow, Papa Roach, Die Trying) and drummer Darren Reynolds (Longfellow, Home Grown). Tony Warner (Longfellow) would soon be recruited to complete the quintet, while vocalist Steve Ludwig (Nations Afire, Hope Departed) would later replace Darren Reynolds on drums.

Yankee Brutal play an intense brand of melodic hardcore that sounds something like the pissed off love-child of Strung Out and No Trigger with the social consciousness of Bad Religion. Spitting venom with the best of them, Yankee Brutal bring punk rock’s fury back to the forefront, middle finger proudly displayed to the powers that be. The revolution won’t only be televised, it’ll have a soundtrack — complete with breakneck drums, whoa-ohs, and a couple of mean sounding six-strings. Having released their first full-length album “The Everlasting Greed”, and “No Hope” EP, through Dying Scene Records, the band has completed 2 national tours, sharing stages with punk vets such as: Lagwagon, Pennywise, Authority Zero, Suicidal Tendencies and many more. Yankee Brutal are currently working on a new record, to be released sometime 2015, followed by many a drunken show, somewhere near your drunk ass!!
