The Oak Park Farmers Market:
Featuring a diverse group of vendors selling locally produced and delicious fruits and vegetables, breads, cheese, eggs, tamales, fresh flowers and more! In addition to our vendors, the market also provides a variety of interactive activities each week, including live music from local bands, activities for children (story-telling, face painting, art projects), and information and giveaways from area non-profits and other organizations.
We are conveniently located in beautiful McClatchy Park at 35th Street & 5th Avenue, adjacent from the University of the Pacific. We are at the end of 35th Street, down the street from Old Soul at 40 Acres, La Venadita, and the Plant Foundry with plenty of parking available.

Pass it on! 🌳🪴🌱🪵🌺🍅🍆🥕🫑🍉 Wednesday, April 24th, 6-7pm Brooks Truitt Garden, 19th Street & Q Street: "The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard. Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials. Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening." ~ City of Sacramento website . . Saturday, May 4th, 8am-noon, while supplies last Sacramento Marina, 2710 Ramp Way "City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way). There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health." ~ City of Sacramento website
