Description
Come join us for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Community Walk. The walk will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 10:00 a.m., on the West Steps of the State Capitol. We are projecting a total of over 2,500 participants all coming out for this day of awareness, hope and healing.
When you walk in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk, you join the efforts of hundreds of thousands of people across the U.S. to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss.
Sponsors of the Sacramento Walk include Sutter Health, Sacramento News & Review, ABC10 and Valley Recovery Center of California.
