Description
In this 10 week class we will focus on Pioneering Women in Rock N Roll! Each week we will study one musician/artist/group, AND learn a selection from the artist’s catalogue. In addition, each student will pick one artist/musician to write their own blog post on due by the end of class. We will also collaborate on writing and recording an original song and release it with cover art on 3 O’Clock Rock Records.

We will be using a combination of two platforms, Zoom and YouTube. Zoom will facilitate online face-to-face interactions through an iPad or computer and will serve as a tool for instruction, demonstrations, and other engagement. YouTube will be a platform to share tutorials and videos.
Parents will receive an introduction letter with the Zoom link prior to the start of the class.
Requirements:
- Access to an Ipad or computer
- Access to streaming internet
- Guardian involvement to help get online
- An instrument is optional but if you don’t have one, here are some local places you can rent one.
