50th Annual Historic Home Tour
Our next Historic Home Tour is Sunday, September 20, 2026. Tickets are on sale now—$30 for Preservation Sacramento members, $40 for non-members.
This year’s tour will take place in the Old Washington School and New Washington School historic districts, between 12th & 19th Street, C and H Street. Join our email list or follow us on social media for updates and notifications about the tour. Tickets on sale now for inside tours of four historic homes and two commercial buildings ordinarily not open to the general public—including the first mural created by the Royal Chicano Air Force.
Preservation Sacramento’s 2026 Historic Home Tour spans two historic districts with a shared legacy—Old Washington School and New Washington School. This self-guided, docent-led tour offers an inside look at beautifully restored homes, in a neighborhood strongly associated with the Royal Chicano Air Force, an internationally recognized collective of artists and activists.
Preservation Sacramento Members: $30 per ticket
Non-Member Price: $40 per ticket

The Preservation Sacramento Historic Home Tour is the largest and longest running home tour in Sacramento. One day a year, volunteers open their homes and businesses to members and friends of Preservation Sacramento. With an emphasis on historic buildings, the tour often features urban infill projects.
