As a nonprofit, we often ask our community to support the Ballet. Especially in this unprecedented time, the Ballet wants to return the favor. We are committed to bringing the ballet to YOU by sending digital content you can view at home. This will include past performances, rehearsals, online classes and interviews with our artists. Enjoy!
We cannot wait to perform for, and dance with, you in person again. Until then, distance does not mean isolation.

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

Saturday, May 4th, 8am-noon, while supplies last
Sacramento Marina, 2710 Ramp Way
"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
