The 6th Annual Sacramento Black Book Fair (SBBF) will include book signings, talks by each featured writer, cultural vendors, workshop sessions, a Kids Zone, a community parade, poetry readings, writer’s chat rooms; writer’s circle and art displays. SBBF will feature more than twenty-five authors of African descent, showcasing and highlighting a diverse spectrum of authors, literature, from contemporary and historical fiction, to anthologies, poetry, academic books, children’s stories and books, non-fictionĀ  to biographies, and self-help, to inspirational, and religious books. The event is free and open to ALL.

Stand Up for Unity in Our Community California Museum FREE EVENT June 22 & 23, 2019. In recognition of the 20th anniversary of a series of N. CA hate crimes by white supremacists, the event encourages visitors to take an active stand against hate, intolerance and bigotry. Free admission to the Unity Center at California Museum and all current exhibits.
