Playing with Verno, For The Kids, Zach Van Dyke, The Honest

Overflowing with energy, excitement, and electricity, The Color Wild aims to capture the spirit of a life without limits. The indie pop quartet consists of California natives (and brothers) Jesse Crosson (Keys, Guitars, Vocals), Kyle Crosson (Vocals), Jaden Crosson (Drums), and Josh Hansen (Lead Guitar). The Color Wild seamlessly blends modern pop melodies and synth keyboards with a high-energy rhythmic drive to create an enthusiastic and undeniably thrilling live show.

Since their inception, the band has been on a fast track for success. Constant shows throughout California, coupled with relentless writing and releasing heartfelt music, captured the attention of Andrew Roesch of Artery Foundation Management.

The Color Wild was covered by Comstock Magazine and prepared themselves for their biggest year yet.

Returning with a new single, “Wild Things”, the band have a fresh take on their old sound. With polished vocals, upbeat percussions, and soaring guitars, the four-piece delivers a colorful ode to youth and love. The Color Wild’s fresh perspective, catchy melodies, and enthusiasm culminate in an energetic live performance, setting then up to become one of the best new bands in 2017.

For the Kids is an alt indie pop rock quartet hailing from Sacramento, California. They produce a high-energy, live performance all their own by drawing strength from each members’ unique individuality, art, and fashion. Created in the summer of 2018, For the Kids began to make an impact on the local scene with their debut single “City Lights” which became the #1 song of 2018 on Sacramento’s KRXQ 98rock local rotation. Early 2019 kicked off with development of a new ep recorded at Fat Cat Studios, bassist’s sponsorship with Fender guitars, and an invitation to perform at 2019’s Concerts in the Park summer series in the heart of Sacramento.

Sacramento, California’s on the rise Pop singer. Van Dyck looks to show people no matter what obstacles you have faced you can still follow your dreams, and do so at a high level.

The Honest – Combining Kenoyer’s piercing lyrics, juxtapositions of acoustic elements with slamming power chords that know when to drop off and story driven songs about the hardest things to talk about, The Honest formed because their day jobs didn’t scratch their itch enough. Quirky and lighthearted, their sound is a spectrum of difficult life choices and heartbreaks in major keys, offsetting darker themes underneath. After jamming together for several months, the trio of Kenoyer, Seth Lawrenson and Jeffrey Newcomb realized their artistic synergy and decided to commit to writing original music. They recruited an unlikely addition to the band, Spencer Pounds of South Carolinam, who Kenoyer met over the internet and eventually brought him out to Sacramento to play as a full time member. Kenoyer won’t label The Honest with a specific genre because “our direction is too amorphic right now”, but admits that The Strokes and The Cure are big inspirations for their sound and style. After many successful public gigs, they are enjoying the momentum of being exposed to more and more fans and listeners, pressing the idea that the toughest things to say need to be said the clearest and the loudest.
