Description
The Fairytale Town Troupers present a gentle and happy story for the whole family! When the three bears return home from a walk, they find a stranger in their home—a lost little girl who goes by the name of Goldilocks. They are surprised, but they decide to help the little girl and keep her safe until she can be reunited with her real family again. Performances will be held in the Children’s Theater. Show times are at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. Tickets are $2 for nonmembers in addition to paid park admission and $1 for members. Tickets can be purchased at the Fairytale Town main gate or at the entrance to the Children’s Theater 15 minutes prior to show time. "The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.
Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.
Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).
There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
