Featuring BROTHERLY MUD, BAND OF COYOTES
The Loose Threads blend the raw energy of American rock from years gone by with acoustic blues, country, and soul.
Hailed as the ‘best up-and-coming Americana band in the Sacramento region’, the Sierra Nevada’s own Brotherly Mud is the 60’s and 70’s folk tradition continued into the modern day, taking influence from today’s songwriters while respecting yesterday’s honesty. With formally trained musicians from the Berklee College of Music and the Musician’s Institute, Brotherly Mud’s sound relies on both the human spirit and intellect to convey their message to those who listen.
Constantly working to be true to their artistic spirits, Brotherly Mud is currently touring with their original material all over the West Coast, with shows, radio interviews and the occasional secret performance.
Band of Coyotes – After leaving Texas, Mason Durst began collaborating acoustically with Tucson native Steven Morkert after meeting one night at Old Ironsides, one of Sacramento’s longest standing live music bars. Soon they met Midwest-gypsy Samantha Henson, Virginia Beach drummer Graham Carter, and California-born Mike Schotter and began blending their sounds and stories into a unique mix of rock, folk, and blues.
