New production team in Sacramento, Loose Thread Productions, presents award winning play by Molly Hagan, “The Swing of the Sea,” at the William J Geery Theatre. We are a new generation of theatre artists in Sacramento are working together to produce engaging professional level theatre. Molly Hagan’s “The Swing of the Sea” is a beautiful coming of age story about loss, dreams, and imagination. Middle-schoolers Boots and Eggs are at odds with themselves and each other after the loss of their best friend Peter. Between awkward dances and treehouse drama they use their imagination to say their goodbyes and come closer together.
