The Historic Downtown Woodland Group is proud to bring you Thursday Night Live at the Plaza at Heritage Plaza Woodland, CA for the third year in a row this June 2019. Offering local and regional bands, each with their own special flair, this family friendly music series features free live music on the Firehouse Entertainment Stage at beautiful Heritage Plaza every Thursday from June 6th through June 27th at 7pm. Family Fun, Food & Art begins at 5 pm with members from Yolo Arts offering Arts & Crafts on the Plaza, while kids can enjoy a Jumping Castle, Face Painting, Balloon Twisting & a Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Contest.
Highlighting the Soul and R&B of Souled Out on June 6th; the Old School Funk of Groovline on June 13th; the Cumbia and Latin Rock of Latin Touch on June 20th, and the Americana and Alt-Country of Nickel Slots on June 27th, Thursday Night Live at the Plaza delivers a danceable assortment of diverse musical genres. These concerts also feature a professional sound system and sound engineer for a bigger concert experience on the Firehouse Entertainment Stage.
Heritage Plaza is located in historic downtown Woodland, a city that continues to grow with multiple new businesses, restaurants and shops. Concertgoers can sample delicious local foods, specialty wines and brews, as well as ice cold drinks, while listening to great music throughout the evening. Adults and kids alike will revel in the fresh sounds of Thursday nights, so grab the family, some chairs and your dancing shoes for these free community concerts!
