Join us for a special evening at Helwig Winery!  Guests will be treated to a gourmet picnic dinner created by Selland’s and OBO Italian and served in an insulated picnic tote.  Guest will also receive a bottle of Helwig wine and all provisions needed for a picnic dinner, including beach chairs donated by our sponsor Delta Dental. Guests will enjoy a special concert in the Helwig amphitheater performed by musical artist Foreverland, back by popular demand!   Our silent auction features wine packages, original art work, jewelry, entertainment packages and more.  Our Live Auction special Chef’s dinners, vacation trips and more!  Come for a special night of gourmet food, great wine, and fantastic entertainment all while supporting a worthy local cause!  All dollars raised will go directly towards Triumph Fitness to help cancer survivors in recapturing their lives after cancer.

Triumph Cancer Foundation, a Sacramento-based local nonprofit that provides Triumph Fitness, a 12-week fitness program, to cancer survivors to help them in regaining strength and stamina after cancer treatment.  Triumph Fitness is offered at no cost to adult cancer survivors in the metro area. It is the only program of its kind in the area and is life-changing to a cancer survivor.

Couples ticket – Starting ticket price $235 for two. Prices increases closer to the event.

Individual ticket – Starting pricing $155 for 1 person. Prices increase closer to the event.

Charter Bus Service – ticket price $25 per person

Leave the driving to us!  Bus departs from the 2401 American River Drive (at Scripps) in Sacramento. Seating is limited.  Buy your tickets early!

"The City’s Recycling and Solid Waste Division this spring is offering a series of free in-person backyard composting seminars to help residents learn how to turn food scraps into compost right in their own backyard.

Attendees will learn about decomposition at a local community garden and discover how to recycle leaves, yard clippings, fruit, and vegetable scraps. Additionally, they’ll receive a demonstration on using a “Geobin” composter and learn about composting materials.

Tips will be shared on how to achieve the right balance of food, air, and moisture, how to maintain compost piles, and home gardening."

"City staff will be giving away free wood mulch to Sacramento residents on May 4 at the Sacramento Marina (2710 Ramp Way).

There will be a limit of one cubic yard of mulch per customer during the event, which will take place from 8 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.

Attendees can also get free bagged and loose compost, which can improve soil health."
