Description
Pat is back! Patricia Abraham began teaching at Roseville Arts (back when our organization was at the Haman House) starting in 1982 through 1996. We are grateful to have her lead this condensed two day workshop for watercolor and acrylic artists. This workshop is designed for intermediate to advanced artists to enjoy completing 1 to 2 paintings with watercolor and/or acrylic instruction. The first day will involve drawing, composition and preparation before beginning a painting. Day two will involve painting with guidance from the instructor with a brief demo before concluding the workshop with a constructive critique.
Materials: Each attendee will need to bring their own supplies including paper or canvas, paints, brushes and other supplies necessary to make a painting including a water container and a rag. Other suggested materials to bring: sketchbook and drawing pencils, minimum of 3 to 4 references (or more, if you wish), sketches, photos, clippings (but not of anyone else’s art), bring about a 9×12 poster board or thin cardboard to work on, paint palette or tray.
Two-Day Workshop: Tuesday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 29th from 10am to 3pm
Teaching Artist: Pat Abraham
