Description

Wednesdays at Winn, sponsored by Midtown Parks, is a new year-round certified farmers market each Wednesday at Winn Park. The market launches on August 19th and will operate from 3 pm to 7:30 pm from March until November when hours roll back to 3 pm to 7 pm through the end of February. The market will feature open air booths offering organic produce, flowers and farmers market grocery items, as well as prepared food and food trucks.
Winn Park is located on the corner of P and 28th streets in the Sutter District near the Sacramento Natural Foods Coop. Parking is available in nearby garages, bike parking is available on site (please bring a bike lock), and attendees are invited to take the Sacramento Regional Transit light rail and exit at the 29th street stop. The market will operate year-round except for weather interruptions for strong winds or rain and will be closed on Wednesday, December 30th.
Special to this market, the Winn Table is available by reservation only. This low slung picnic table can accommodate up to 10 individuals sitting on provided rugs, cushions and ground chairs for BYO picnics during Wednesdays at Winn. To reserve the table, visit WednesdaysatWinn.com and make a $50 donation which will be given to the River City Food Bank. The table will be set up and sanitized for your group’s use only. Area nonprofits may request a donation of a reservation at the table with a catered picnic from an area Sutter District restaurant to use for their fundraising purposes. This is valued at $250+.

To help keep everyone safe at Wednesdays at Winn, we are taking additional precautions in light of COVID-19. Much like a grocery store, Wednesdays at Winn plays a critical role in the community to maintain food access to shoppers of all income levels, and it is important to support our local farmers, growers, and vendors at this time.

To help keep everyone safe, Wednesdays at Winn has put the following preventative measures in place, including:
*Being equipped with hand-washing stations
*Sanitizing stations are located throughout the market
*6 feet spacing between vendors to allow for distancing
*Sample tasting at vendor booths is prohibited
*Requesting vendors to pre-bag their products
*Adding signs with information about social distance measures

If you plan to attend Wednesdays at Winn, please practice social distancing, wear a face covering, wash your hands with soap and water, and cover your cough. If you are sick, please stay home.
