Westerly, Americana Rock & Roll – Rooted in the traditions of folk songwriters such as Joan Baez and Leonard Cohen, San Francisco Bay Area’s Westerly craft uniquely Americana indie rock songs that layer three-part harmonies over immersive soundscapes ranging from drum-driven rock pounders to intensely soulful ballads and introspective, reflective hymns. Storytellers at heart, the band spins yarns of spirituality, love, and the state of the nation (and world). Delicately integrating Americana, folk, spirituals and other influences of its U.S. forefathers, the band is expressly not a retrospective band and resists being boxed into any one genre. The band’s sound also measuredly integrates contemporary flourishes that often give nod to the R&B, punk, and indie rock scenes that have characterized San Francisco’s musical landscape of free love and protest music over the last several decades.

With three albums under their belt, Westerly has actively played live and toured, gracing clubs, bars, coffee shops, radio stations, old folks homes and circus tents. The band’s original songs and dynamic performances are known to get a crowd on their feet and dancing, melt faces with screaming guitar solos and deliver crowds to tears with its intimate songwriting and heartfelt performances.

Westerly’s lineup includes Sterling Spence (lead vocals, guitar), Scott Wilson (lead guitar), Jessica Lips (vocals), Jeff Peck (bass), and Brandon Seinturier (drums). The band has been featured extensively on Bay Area radio stations including KPFA, KALW, KALX, and Mutiny Radio and are beloved regular performers throughout Bay Area live music venues.

The Zach Waters Band is a Blues/Rock band from Sacramento, CA. This power trio consists of drummer Steve Pires, bassist Alex Parker, and is fronted by 19 year old guitarist/vocalist Zach Waters. Zach is first and foremost a guitarist, but also plays bass, keyboards, mandolin, and ukulele. Taking inspiration from classic artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Montrose, Led Zeppelin, Robin Trower, and more, this young group is putting their own twist on the classic rock, blues driven genre.

As of 2019, the band is currently recording their official demo, after finishing up a spring tour and a very busy 2018, topping at 60 shows. The Zach Waters Band has been fortunate enough to share the lighted stage with acts such as: Dokken, Y&T, Pat Travers, Gretchen Menn, Ron Artis II, Chris Cain, Tommy Castro, Jackie Greene, and others! Furthermore, Zach is also an endorsed artist for Ernie Ball Music Man, Tantris Picks, and Thimble Guitar Slides. In 2018, the readers of SN&R Magazine voted the band as the best Blues/Rock act in the Sacramento region. Furthermore, the band has been nominated for 3 Sacramento Music Awards for the 2019 Sammies (Blues, Teen Artist, Live Performer.)
