An evening with William Burg, Cru Chocolate, and Lucid & Voluptuary Wines
Friday, October 7, 6-8 pm
Join us for a full-senses experience of the best four things in the world: art, books, wine, and chocolate.
Sacramento’s Liminal Art Spaces, A Talk and Slide Show:
William Burg, the author of seven books and approximately one hundred articles on Sacramento history, transportation, politics, art, culture, counterculture, and subculture, presents a wide-ranging but sadly incomplete introduction to Sacramento’s hidden art spaces, underground galleries, music venues, artist groups, and counterculture enclaves, from the early 1900s through the 1990s.
We’re pairing an art medium, style, or movement with samples of chocolate by award-winning local confectioners, Cru Chocolate and pours of organic, locally produced wine from R street’s own Lucid Winery.
We are delighted to offer signed copies of William’s books, “Wicked Sacramento” and “Midtown Sacramento” for sale, selected Lucid Wines by the glass, and Cru Chocolate available for purchase.
