Description
The Crocker’s Art Auction Season features two lively events and an exhibition that showcase many of the region’s emerging and most distinguished artists in support of the Museum exhibitions, acquisitions, and education programs.
The Art Auction is a casual yet sophisticated dinner with live and silent auctions held in the Museum’s Teel Family Pavilion. The evening begins with champagne, cocktails, and silent auctions of fabulous works and progresses to dinner and a live auction of approximately 30 artworks plus exclusive trips and coveted experiences.
The Art Auction Exhibition, on view in the Museum’s galleries from May 23 to June 1, features every item in the Art Auction. The exhibition allows all Museum visitors to preview the works that will be for sale and has become an essential, up-to-the-minute showcase of the region’s art scene.
