Description
Join us for our final event of the 2019 Stories on Stage Sacramento season, as we present two outstanding memoirists, Christine S O’Brien and Jen Palmares Meadows. Kelley Ogden and Justine Lopez will be reading from Christine’s memoir Crave, a story of family turmoil and incessant hunger hidden behind the luxurious façade of New York’s famed Dakota apartment building, and from Jen Palmares Meadows’ memoir-in-progress Betting on Brown, a work she describes as “an experimental coming-of-age gambling memoir, mixing lyrical prose with card games, recipes, and reportage. at the Auditorium at CLARA, on 24th Street between N and O streets. Doors open at 7PM, readings begin at 7:30. A $10 donation is suggested.
