Chinese New Year Celebration

Annual Chinese New Year Celebration in February
  • Feb. 18, 2017

Welcome to 2017 Year-of-The-Rooster Chinese New Year Celebration! 2017 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Chinese New Year Cultural Association (CNYCA), Sacramento. A milestone of unity of sixteen Chinese American organizations in the Greater Sacramento Region Celebrating Chinese New Year together! The annual CNYCA Chinese New Year Celebration is the largest and most important annual Chinese festival in the Capital region of California. Several committee members including myself are honored to have served since the inception of CNYCA 20 years ago.

It is because of you and your continued support over the years, we are able to grow, thrive and continue to bring the diverse community together to promote the rich Chinese Culture and Heritage.

In Chinese culture Rooster represents fidelity and punctuality. People who were born in the year of the Rooster are beautiful, kind-hearted, hard-working, intelligent, courageous, independent, humorous and honest. They like to keep home neat and organized.

We are excited CNYCA has continued to grow and we look forward to celebrating our 20th Anniversary with you on February 18th, 2017!

We sincerely wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous Chinese New Year, the year of the Rooster!
