The annual East Sacramento Edible Gardens Tour, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Sacramento, Inc., showcases six gardens representing various styles and designs that incorporate fruit, vegetables and herbs into the landscaping.
Stroll through unique and delightful gardens while consulting with UC Master Gardeners and enjoying melodic tunes from the Sacramento Symphonic Winds.
Proceeds support the Soroptimist mission to improve the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Such programs include Scholarships, the Live Your Dream Award, the Dream It, Be It Program, and others in our community such as Saint John's Program for Real Change and Roberts Family Development Center.
