Description
Sacramento has so many amazing chefs, but most of us don’t know their stories or the passion behind their food. City Scout presents a quarterly supper club with our favorite chefs in the region. This exclusive experience will get you closer to your favorite chefs, in a family-style dinning setting. Every supper will be a different chef, a different location, and a different menu.
Our first one is with Chef Ben Tamayo of Skool Japanese Gastropub. Skool began in San Francisco in 2010, as a seafood-centric restaurant with Japanese flair. Upon opening their Sacramento outpost in 2016 Chef Moto Nagano dove head first into doing more classic style Japanese food including ramen, udon, and other Japanese Gastropub-esque inspired fare. Currently with Chef Ben Tamayo at the helm, Skool Japanese Gastropub, will kick off City Scout’s Supper Club series with Skool’s Noodle Night on March 21st.
This four course prix fixe menu will highlight ramen and incorporate other fish fuson dishes that stylistically link the two Skool’s together. Feature Sake pairing and cocktail features will be available.
