Northern California’s premier venue for Argentine tango, Tango by the River, is located in the picturesque and historic district of Old Sacramento in California’s state Capitol.
The studio itself has been called the “nation’s most elegant tango salon.” With over 1500 square feet of beautiful hardwood floor, spacious fourteen foot ceilings, and five 12-foot windows overlooking Old Sacramento, it is also probably the most romantic.

Every week, we have three classes plus a practica to get you on your way to dancing Argentine Tango socially. Check out this great program:
Tuesdays, Beginning Tango – 6:30-7:30 pm
In our beginning class on Tuesday nights, you learn the fundamentals of Argentine Tango: the basic elements of the tango walk (caminada) and introduction of basic steps, emphasizing posture, leading and following skills, and interpreting the music.
Tuesdays, Intermediate Tango – 7:30-8:30 pm
The intermediate class on Tuesday night focuses on pivots and turns, and how to apply all steps learned so far into the social setting.
Thursdays, Close Embrace Tango, 7:00-8:30 pm
The Close Embrace Tango Class on Thursday nights changes every month but always focuses on dancing in the close embrace, technique, musicality, and steps appropriate to the social milonga. A minimum of 3 months of tango [or instructor okay] is required before taking this class.

Join Zuda Yoga for Flight School: Immersions, The next level in Flight School on Saturday, April 7 at Zuda Midtown with Anne Marie Kramer, 1:00pm – 3:30pm.
Intensely focused on the bhandas (the subtle, energetic locks within the body), Flight School Immersions builds on the combined the elements of our other two Flight Schools (Foundations & Connections) to inspire a new lift in your yoga practice.
We’ll explore floating into crow from down-dog, crow to hand stand, jump-throughs, floating, for-arm stand, eight-limb sage, twisted flying pigeon, and flying pigeon.No need to have participated in the other two Flight Schools to take this workshop. All three draw on the same basic elements to create new lift and lightness in your yoga practice. Just show up with a willingness to let go of gravity and explore possibility!
The only pre-requisite is that you come with courage!
Be prepared to work, sweat, and have some fun.
