Description
The Art Studios Sacramento hosts its regular 2nd Saturday show featuring artist Jason Richardson and his Laguna Perspectives. While in the deep south of Brazil, Jason found inspiration in the often glaring sunlight and the rich blues that bounce off the Atlantic Ocean.
This short series, titled In the Shallows, is an exploration of light and water vessels on the interior lagoon of the city of Laguna, in the beautiful State of Santa Catarina, These paintings were completed in 2019 using oil paints & canvas brought from the United States and local materials to construct the frames and textures on the canvases.
Also available in individual studios are the paintings, ceramics, glass and pottery of the 15 resident artists. Come enjoy!
