Wine aficionados, epicurean fans, and seekers of authentic artisan crafts, it is time for the Eighth Annual Barbera Festival on September 15th in Amador County! We are sort of shell-shocked, elated and honored for the ongoing support that has helped make this event one of the most sought-after Northern California festival tickets. Fellow barbera lovers, this is your event, and this year, it is going to be even better!
In celebration of our eighth year, and to continue to provide a premier guest experience while enabling more attendees to participate, and showcase another beautiful historic Barbera vineyard, we are continuing to hold the festival at the original home of Barbera in Amador County: Terra d’Oro/Montevina Winery. This larger location features a beautiful meadow spotted with ancient oaks tucked among hillside vineyards. With more elbow room for everyone, we hope to continue a tradition of a day of Barbera tasting like no other in California.
As in previous years, we will host nearly 80 wineries from all over California, including the Sierra Foothills, Paso Robles, Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake County, the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ventura County, Lodi and the Bay Area. Top area restaurants and caterers are already lined up to present Barbera-friendly cuisine. Come hungry, come thirsty, and come ready to indulge.
