During this expressive 5-day camp session, participants will have their own sketchbook journal to embellish with collage and mixed media that is meaningful to them. Collage can be eco-friendly, cost-effective, engaging and a great way to record memories and emotion. This session will explore texture, color, pattern and composition in a variety of art projects inspired by famous collage artists: Louise Nevelson and Beverly Buchanan. Each day will feature a new art project (from a Layered Metaphor Collage to an Our Home, Our Personal History mixed media painting) and will focus either in the journal or on paper and canvas using acrylic paint, watercolor, up-cycled magazines, cardboard, paper, prints and more!

Space is limited for up to 15 participants. Each participant will be provided with their own workstation. All materials and instruction are included in session price. There will be a 15 minute break outdoors and a light snack will be provided each day. Learn about safety guidelines for our art programs here.
