Tickets available now for the 2018 Oak Park Speaker Series

The launch of the Oak Park Speaker Series begins this May at the Guild Theater. Presented by Underground Books and the Greater Sacramento Urban League, the 4-part speaker series features prominent African American leaders on the topics of education, politics and economics.
During this critical time of social justice awareness, the speaker series brings together Sacramento’s African American community to discuss issues facing our city, state and nation.
The premier event will take place on Wednesday, May 9 at 6pm with political commentator Roland Martin. Please be sure to arrive early, as seating will be limited. Tickets for individual events and the entire series are available by visiting Underground Books, or the Oak Park Speaker Series website (https://bit.ly/2q15mhz).
A book signing will take place immediately following each event for those who purchase copies from Underground Books.
FREE ADMISSION TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE A GPA of 3.0 + (Must bring a current report card).
